5th Unconventional Runway Show

Don't miss out on this highly anticipated event. Tickets go on sale at 9am on April 1 at the center and online. Last year we sold out within 36 hours, so don't wait too long to guarantee yourself a seat. As usual, the costumes will all reflect different creative styles, the theme of the night is the 60s, so come as you are, or wear your favorite flower power outfit.

I always wanted to be in a band. I was encouraged by a friend to come to a ukulele jam at the center and was hooked - I'm still playing and singing after four years. The ability to carry a tune not required.

"There are many ways to improve skills or learn something new. You Tube has videos on how to play ukulele and how to carve wood.  I could sit at my computer and get the skills I want to acquire.  However, when I take a class at the Senior Center on wood carving or play in a jam with ukulele I get to not only learn new skills but also get to know many wonderful people.  That is a very nice bonus!"
