Carla Fondrick

Carla Fondrick

After retiring from a long career in fundraising and philanthropy, Carla and her husband, Paul, moved to Anacortes. Her professional experience includes fundraising roles with Legal Aid and Family Services in San Mateo, California, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County, and Homage Senior Services, where she supported essential programs such as Meals on Wheels.

When she learned about the funding cuts to Meals on Wheels in Anacortes, Carla knew she couldn’t stay on the sidelines. Her years of fundraising for Meals on Wheels in Snohomish County gave her a firsthand understanding of how vital these programs are to the health, independence, and connection of older adults.

Since moving to Anacortes, Carla has become an active member of the community. She is a member of Soroptimist International of Anacortes and volunteers in the Soroptimist Thrift Shop. She is committed to building a community where everyone feels supported, connected, and valued.

You Can Help

The ASAC hours are 8am-4pm to serve the seniors of Anacortes. The Center has something for everyone...activities, lunch, classes, connecting with friends as well as making new ones.

With your donation you can help with expenses needed to support our activities and classes, expand our social phone call program and help with continuing operational expenses required to keep the building functioning well.
